Noiz launches send.noiz.co.za, a free WeTransfer alternative offering end-to-end encrypted file sharing with expiring links and Thunderbird integration.

The [noiz] – send upload page: a dark interface titled “Simple, private file sharing” with a drag-and-drop area and a “Select files to upload” button

Exciting news! A new online file sharing tool similar to WeTransfer has just launched. You can access it at send.noiz.co.za.

Why?

Email was never designed for sending large digital files. In today’s data-centric world, the need to send large digital files and documents has grown beyond email’s capabilities.

While services like WeTransfer are popular, not everyone trusts their privacy practices. “online file sharing systems like WeTransfer are great, but not everyone trusts that the data is private” and encryption practices remain unclear. This is why [noiz] – send is being offered.

What does [noiz] – send do?

“[noiz] – send lets you share files with end-to-end encryption and a link that automatically expires.” Users can keep shared content private and ensure data doesn’t remain online indefinitely.

  • Share files privately and securely
  • Password encrypt files for maximum security
  • Control download link availability duration
  • Set the number of permitted downloads
  • Free to use (both financially and in terms of freedom)
  • Direct integration with Thunderbird email client for oversized attachments

How to Use It

  1. Navigate to send.noiz.co.za
  2. Select files or drag and drop into the browser
  3. Set maximum downloads or validity period
  4. Optionally protect with a password (share separately with recipient)
